What is a positive affirmation?

A positive affirmation is a simply worded positive statement
asserting something to be true.
I live in the now & know that my
point of power is in the present
moment.
What is the purpose of a positive affirmation?

In the words of Louise L. Hay, "The thoughts we think and
the words we speak create our experiences."
Whether we know it or not we all use affirmations positive or negative every day. For
instance, faced with a difficult task we may say, "that's a snap, I can do it," or "that's too hard,
I'll never get it." This is often referred to as self-talk. It's the little voice inside our head that
can be a positive influence or wreak havoc in our daily lives.

Reflected on repeatedly throughout the day a positive affirmation will modify thoughts thus
enhancing performance, concentration, and confidence. By altering our self-talk and
incorporating positive affirmations into our daily routines we can begin to restore our overall
health and well being.

You have absolutely nothing to lose and so very much to gain. Open your mind and begin
the journey, allow the power of positive thinking to quiet your mind, restore your body, and
kindle your soul.
